Are you a high schooler interested in computer science or AI? Inspirit AI offers a project-based research program in artificial intelligence for high schoolers. In our 10-session, live online program, high school students will develop their own AI-enabled projects to tackle important social issues. Students will emerge from the program with a completed AI project as well as a certificate to mark their achievement in computer science. High School Courses for High School Research

Most high schools offer AP Seminar and AP Research through the AP Capstone program. The program is a unique opportunity for high school students to engage in rigorous academic research and develop essential skills for higher education and beyond. Offered by the College Board, the program consists of these two courses: AP Seminar and AP Research. Let’s explore the significance and benefits of them. 

AP SEMINAR

This is the first course in the AP Capstone program. It focuses on developing critical thinking, research, and communication skills. Through group projects, presentation, and written assignments, students learn how to analyze complex issues from multiple perspectives, evaluate sources to determine their credibility, and construct well-reasoned arguments. The course includes an individual research-based report, a team-based presentation, and an individual research-based argument.

AP RESEARCH

This is the second course in the AP Capstone program. In AP Research, students design, conduct, and present an in-depth, year-long research project on a topic of their choice. They explore their research question, develop a research plan, collect and analyze data, and present their findings in a scholarly paper and presentation.
