Creating AI Lessons for K12 Teachers
Watch our recent Inspirit AI Teacher Workshop, led by Daniela Ganelin, Stanford PhD student and CS Educator, on how to create AI Lessons.
Upcoming AI for K12 Teachers Workshop
ChatGPT as Teacher’s Aide and Teaching Tool
Wednesday, November 13, at 12:00pm Pacific Time
In this workshop, we’ll experiment with using GPT to speed up different aspects of teachers’ work. Using an open-source GPT4 equivalent (HuggingFace Assistants), you’ll create your own specialized AI assistant to draft emails, feedback, rubrics, or lesson plan ideas - whatever helps you in your daily work. We’ll also discuss issues of AI ethics, including how to guard against AI mistakes and how to guide students in responsible use of AI.
Daniela Ganelin is a computer science educator and education researcher based in San Francisco. In her Ph.D. program at Stanford University, her research focuses on quantifying diversity and access in high-school computer science courses. Previously, she taught math and artificial intelligence at an international school in Italy, and led the curriculum and instruction team at Inspirit AI. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from MIT. In her free time, she loves exploring California's redwoods and tide pools.
