Who Can Participate?

Stanford AI4ALL is open to current 9th-grade students (rising 10th graders during the summer) eager to explore the exciting field of AI and contribute to increasing diversity. If you have a passion for AI and a desire to make a difference, this program is tailored for you.

Application Process and Deadlines

To embark on this transformative journey, be sure to mark these key dates on your calendar. The early application deadline is February 1, 2023, the regular application deadline is February 17, 2023, and the extended application deadline is March 10, 2023. Don't forget that letters of recommendation are due within 7 days of your application submission. Qualified candidates will be informed of their application outcome by May 1st, 2023.

Online Classroom Technology Requirements

Prepare for effective participation by ensuring you have the necessary technology. While the program organizers will assist with technology setup, you must have a computer with daily access to the latest internet browsers, plug-ins, and software. A high-speed internet connection, webcam, microphone, and a suitable learning environment free from distractions are essential for a seamless online learning experience.

As AI4ALL expanded its Summer Programs to 16 sites in 2020, including universities such as Princeton, Carnegie Mellon, and the University of Pennsylvania, it launched AI4ALL College Pathways. This initiative aims to increase entrance and persistence in AI for college students. The COVID-19 pandemic prompted a temporary shift to virtual programs, maintaining engagement and accessibility. Despite these challenges, AI4ALL's commitment to shaping the future of AI education remains unwavering. With Emily Reid at the helm, the organization prioritizes supporting college students, partnering with 16 colleges and universities across the US to provide essential skills and networks for success in the AI field.

About Inspirit AI

AI Scholars Live Online is a 10 session (25-hour) program that exposes high school students to fundamental AI concepts and guides them to build a socially impactful project. Taught by our team of graduate students from Stanford, MIT, and more, students receive a personalized learning experience in small groups with a student-teacher ratio of 5:1.
