What is the Stanford Summer Session?
Unlike a regular summer program, the Stanford Summer Session is a cut through program offering a multitude of subjects to take a class in. What is unique is that this summer session is treated like a regular class from school and students are expected to finish coursework and are graded on it. Different from a typical summer quarter, 10-week term, the workload and prerequisites are greater. While most courses are eight weeks long, some courses may overlap with each other on final exam week so applicants should note how they will schedule their courses. When is the Stanford Summer Session?
While they don’t count towards a semester grade, summer sessions often begin from the end of the school year and continue until around the day before the start of the next school year. The Stanford Summer Session for 2024 is an eight-week program that extends this year from June 22 and continues until August 18, 2024. The first early decision of last year has passed, but the regular decision’s submission deadline is on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 by 9PM PST. The waitlist for high school student's submission deadline is Monday, May 21, 2024 by 9PM PST.
How to Apply to the Stanford Summer Session?
You should note that while there is hefty cost to getting enrolled, before getting accepted, it is a competitive application race.
