AI4ALL at University of Washington

AI4ALL at the University of Washington is an online summer camp calling students to join for a free, 20-week data science and artificial intelligence introductory workshop. This workshop will train students to understand, analyze, interpret, and discuss real-world applications of data science and machine learning to understand impactful technology decisions. The program focuses on data science, geographical information science, machine learning (ML), and their application in daily life. What’s great about this program is that no previous coding experience is necessary, lessons assume beginner level, and- it’s free!

Beaver Works Summer Institute with MIT

  • Eligibility: Students must be in highschool and demonstrate a capacity for STEM learning.

This online summer camp is accredited for focusing on project-based courses, such as Serious Games and Artificial Intelligence, Cyber ops, quantum software, and more! And here's where it gets good - all for free! Students will build an analysis framework in Python to study the technical, moral, and strategic opportunities new technologies present to that application. It is worth mentioning that this program selectively is high, so students must be capable of understanding AI concepts and have an eagerness to learn as much as they can from this course. 

AI/Big Data with The CodingSchool

Additionally, students learn how to utilize large data sets and program ML algorithms through project-based learning.

  • Eligibility: 10th to 12th graders who have taken high school algebra 2. Calculus 1 is recommended, but not required

Machine Learning for Beginners by Purdue University is taught by a computer engineering professor and Ph.D. alumni from Purdue, with support from the National Science Foundation. It is a 5-day crash course that introduces students to AI and ML. They learn the fundamentals of AI & ML, python, neural networks, pattern recognition, and image processing. This program is an excellent fit for students looking to start their AI journey and leave the course with proficiency in Python programming while gaining deep insights into practical applications, including building algorithms and programming robots.
