Wondering how the uses of AI apply to the real world in 2022 and beyond?

What is AI?

Before I talk about the uses of AI and their real-world applications, I first want to start off with what AI is.

Artificial Intelligence (or “AI”), is the development of computer programs that are able to do tasks and solve problems that usually require human intelligence. These types of problems consist of, visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, word translation, and much more.

All these problems would require human intelligence, but with the help of AI and computer programming, we are able to solve these problems without much human intervention. This benefits the breadth of AI use cases for human applications around the world.

AI’s job is to help make our lives more efficient–that is why we use it today.

How is AI used?

AI is currently being used today in hundreds of different ways. As it is used in too many ways to name them all, here are a couple which you may be familiar with: Voice recognition, self-driving cars, chat bots, online shopping, streaming services, healthcare technology, factory warehouse systems, and educational tools. While of course AI is applied differently to all these systems, there is still a similar process in how it is applied. For many AI models, computer programming is used to create machine learning algorithms that interpret the data and learn from it. While AI is applied to many different fields, the objective is a common one, to be able to make life more convenient for us all.

What will be AI’s impact in our future?

For now, we don’t truly know what the future of AI holds. We don’t know if it is going to impact us humans in a good way or bad way. But what we do know is that it is going to expand and become bigger and bigger everyday we live. While our lives are already heavily influenced by AI, in the future everything will revolve around AI. Life will become more efficient, many jobs will be automated by AI and many other jobs will become available because of AI. AI is the way of the future and whether you like it or not, it will expand and become greater everyday.

Looking Ahead

AI is one of the biggest things that impacts human life today. It is most likely applied in the majority of things you use today to help make life more convenient. With more time, the uses of AI will have a larger impact on our world. Soon everything in our world will be involved around it and even though it may be scary, it is still truly amazing.
