  1. Georgetown Summer College Intensive

    Georgetown University Summer College Immersion Program (SCIP) is an intensive three-week college preparatory program designed for high-achieving rising high school seniors from Cristo Rey Network and KIPP Foundation school systems, as well as selected schools, networks, and community-based organizations. The program offers a transformational learning experience, introducing students to college life and enhancing their readiness to apply to highly selective colleges and universities. During the program, students participate in a variety of activities, including class sessions, group discussions, seminars, workshops, and field trips. The program also features Georgetown Experience Seminars, which explore a range of subjects, including international relations, business, cybersecurity, government, STEM, liberal arts, and health studies.

  2. Georgetown Summer College

    Georgetown University offers Summer College courses that enable students to earn college credits and gain a head start in their academic careers. The program provides a seamless transition into the college learning environment, with a blend of lectures, class discussions, and guest speakers. Students have the opportunity to take courses alongside current undergraduates, learn from distinguished Georgetown faculty, and engage in rigorous coursework that prepares them for college success and beyond. Upon completion of their course(s), students will receive an official transcript from Georgetown University.

    Georgetown University's 1-Week Medical Academy provides an introduction to the field of medicine and a glimpse into the Georgetown University Medical Center. The Medical Center includes the nationally ranked School of Medicine, School of Nursing & Health Studies, and the renowned Lombardi Cancer Center. During the program, students explore various topics, such as human anatomy and physiology, microbiology, infectious diseases, surgery, cancer, and biomedical ethics. The program emphasizes hands-on learning experiences, including the use of a patient simulator, laboratory experiments, and discussions on pressing medical issues like COVID-19, heart disease, HIV, and preventative medicine.

    Georgetown’s 2-Week Social Justice Academy is grounded in both the Social Change Model of Leadership Development and the Pathways of Public Service and Civic Engagement frameworks. Located in the heart of the nation's capital, the program provides a unique opportunity to learn through direct engagement with diverse stakeholders. Participants will interact with colleagues from policy think tanks, as well as local, national, and international organizations dedicated to diverse areas of civil, economic, and human rights. The program offers content and context to deepen students' knowledge and promote greater awareness of social justice issues.

  5. Georgetown Creative Writing Academy

    The Creative Writing Academy at Georgetown University provides a platform for aspiring writers to transform their ideas, dreams, and stories into compelling written works.
